Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans
As far as I understand, chickens do not fly. So tell me, please, how did this chicken end up in a tree? I understand it can get down without crashing, but if a chicken can not fly, it should not be able to elevate itself either in my logic.

Our house is empty. Tomorrow, we’ll leave Curacao behind and leave for another adventure on another island. I’m really messed up about leaving my home. I -hate- leaving my home behind. I need my freakin’ home! So I’m not doing so great, also because this was supposedly the time that we left to go back to Holland. Which obviously didn’t happen. That’s why one part of me is screaming: “Leave me the fuck alone! I want my home! Any home!”
And than there is the other part. The part that goes something like this: “You freakin’ pussy, you’re leaving one not so cool place, for a really cool place and you’re WHINING about it! Get a freakin’ life!!”
These two parts actually balance each other out. I’m kinda fucked up about leaving, but I kinda refuse to be sad. So I guess, in a way, I’m fucked up perfectly. Hopefully I’ll stay balanced-in-a-weird-way like this for a while. At least to get the last day in Curacao over with and the first couple of weeks in Tortola.
Anyway, I’m gonna go have a nice dinner, hopefully (but not likely) a nice sleep and tomorrow we’re flying to Tortola. Eek! Wish me luck!

Tomorrow we’re going to St. Thomas. Our apartment is empty and we need to live there pretty soon. Since the house in Curacao will be emptied out on August 13th, we need to be able to live in our new apartment for a while, without the furniture from Curacao already there. Since here in Tortola, there are like 3 shops, all selling clothes, we need to get some temporary furniture. The idea is to go to St. Thomas (by ferry), rent a car there, go to K-mart and Home Depot, get some basic stuff, get it back on the ferry and get it up to the apartment. So it’s gonna be a busy day tomorrow. Ofcourse I forgot my digicam, but I’ll try to take some pictures with my ultra-deluxe smart phone. Right now it is time for bed.
